• Account details: your email address and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see them.
• Alert settings: postcodes, radius, trades, stages and your email preferences (how often, how many per day, unsubscribed or not).
• Email delivery records: which alerts we have sent you and when.
• Waitlist: the email address and area you give us if you join the waitlist.
• Technical logs: basic logs such as request times, errors and IP addresses, kept by our hosting provider.

Planning application data comes from public council planning registers, collected through a third-party aggregator. We do not store applicant, agent or case officer names.

• Providing the service (sending the alerts you set up, running your account): contract.
• Keeping the service secure and improving it: legitimate interests.
• Waitlist and launch updates: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Alert emails are service emails that you ask for. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

• Hosting, database and authentication: Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase).
• Email delivery: Resend.

If you ask for a free sample on our home page, we collect your email address, the trade and area you chose, and a record of your consent (the wording you agreed to and when). We use them to send one confirmation email and, once you confirm, one sample of recent planning applications. We only send the occasional update about Mithos Radar that you agreed to, and you can unsubscribe from any email with one click.

To stop abuse, we store a scrambled (salted and hashed) version of your connection's IP address for 24 hours. We never store the address itself.

We keep sample requests for [12 months] [CHECK], or until you unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list so we don't email you again. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or emailing info@mithosradar.com.

The sample uses public council planning registers for Oxfordshire. We do not store applicant, agent or case officer names.

We only use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections and access controls so that only you can see your own settings. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you and the ICO if the law requires it after a breach.

Mithos Radar is a service for businesses and tradespeople. It is not aimed at anyone under 18.

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes, and email account holders about significant changes before they take effect.
